Bring your appetite and a lot of energy for some tasty new twists on a perennial favorite summer program! This year we continue in the spectacular professional kitchens at Staples High School.
July 7-11| U.S. Regional Cuisines:
Around our country: Northeast, Southern, Southwest, New Orleans-Cajun-Creole, Hawaii, California & Northwest .
Baking: Specialty cakes & cupcakes, U.S. regional & decorated desserts! This week interested students will create their own individual cake over the course of the week and take it home Friday afternoon!
July 14-18| Asian Cuisine:
China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and India.
Baking: Cookies A-Z, bar cookies, quick batters to quick breads, Asian desserts.
July 21-25| European Cuisine:
France, Italy, Spain & Portugal, Germany & Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey and the Mediterranean.
Baking: Savory & sweet, biscuits, scones, yeast breads and non-yeasted breads, European desserts.
July 28-August 1|World Cuisines:
Mexico, Caribbean, Africa, UK, Southeast Asia, and more!
Baking: Around the World desserts!
