Description

Learn, practice, and experiment in the fine arts in this studio class. Explore “the Masters,” create still-life and line drawings and then move on to painting with acrylics. Learn about color theory, color mixing, and painting techniques from observation. Non-refundable materials fee of $20 included. 

Valerie Kirinich graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration and the New York Academy of Art with a MFA in Figurative Fine Art. She's taught at the Westport Art Center, Wilton Continuing Education, Darien Art Center, and the Wilton YMCA. She enjoys teaching art classes and motivating students of all ages to learn and grow through art!

 

Additional Notes

Students should bring an unlined sketchbook to each class, 5 x 7" or 8 x 10". Please bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack. NO CLASS on Friday, 7/4
