Description
Registered Dietitians design and create nutritional-rich cooking classes, taught by Certified Teachers. There is minimal baking, with lots of hands-on learning. Kids will have a blast using utensils, stirring up creativity, and discovering the joy of making balanced, fun and delicious snacks. The focus is not only on taste, but also on nutrition, ensuring our little chefs enjoy every bite while getting exposed to a variety of nutritious ingredients. Get ready for a culinary adventure!
Classes are taught by Brittany Ursini, who has dedicated over a decade to childcare, bringing warmth and creativity to her roles. As a kindergarten teacher at Bridgeport Public Schools, she creates engaging and nurturing learning environments for her students. Brittany graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Education and a cross-certification in Special Education. Her passion lies in teaching early school-aged children, fostering their social and emotional development, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
