Description
Students will learn the basics of woodworking and have the chance to build some fun projects using machines and tools safely. They will design and create their own helix mobile; create a cool name plaque that can hang on a door or wall, build their very own carry case, and time depending turn their very own stylish pen on a pen lathe and more.
The cost includes a non-refundable supply fee of $60.
Alison Stephens has been teaching Technology Education in Connecticut for the last 14 years. For most of that time she has taught a large amount of woodshop/hands on problem solving with emphasis on safety and good measurement skills. In addition to working with wood she loves to hike with her dogs, travel, and take lots of photos.
