Description

GEOMETRY A 

This course studies area, perimeter, surface area, volume, building blocks of geometry, congruence, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, properties of triangles, and polygons. Algebra skills are embedded in each unit. The A-level and B-level courses differ in pacing and depth of study. 

 

Prerequisite: Algebra 1 

Guideline: Teacher recommendation required 

Instructions and Application to Register:

1) Complete the High School Credit Application
2) Obtain signatures from the subject area department coordinator and your school counselor 
3) Submit the form with the signatures to Westport Continuing Education, #1040, Staples High School

There are no refunds or credits for withdrawals from high school academic credit courses.
