Description

Ever had a cool idea for a T shirt design? Now's your chance to bring it to life! In this course, you will trace your design onto a stencil that you will cut-out and attach to a screen, and then print onto your T shirt, tote bag, or other smooth fabric item (with no pockets or heavily textured fabric). Note: Xacto knives are used to make the stencils, requiring good fine motor skills. We will have a handful of T shirt sizes on hand, and you are encouraged to bring your own shirt, tote bag, etc., if you prefer to print on a particular color/style/unusual item.

 

Angela Simpson has been teaching art at Staples High School for over 20 years, specializing in Painting and Silk Screen Printing. Outside of school, she enjoys competing in agility with her dog, Teddy. She and Teddy are also a therapy dog team, and often make visits at Staples High School during exam weeks to bring smiles to students and staff.
